Woody Allen looks to Adrien Brody for “Midnight in Paris”

Hollywoodnews.com: Despite the lukewarm reviews that Woody Allen’s latest comedy “You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger” has received out of Cannes, the helmer continues to habitually churn out one film annually.

The Hollywood Reporter recently announced that Oscar winning actor Adrien Brody will join Allen’s latest romantic comedy production “Midnight in Paris” which already boasts a top-shelf cast of Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates and Michael Sheen as well as the first lady of France Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.

“Midnight” begins lensing this summer in Paris, of course.

Brody and Wilson previously starred together onscreen in “the Darjeeling Limited.” Brody can next be seen in the Warner Bros. sci-fi thriller “Splice” on June 4 and Fox’s July 9 release “Predators.”

“Midnight” follows a family’s travels in Paris, one set of protagonists being a couple who are romantically on the fence.
