HP TouchSmart TM2 Core i3 and i5?

HP TouchSmart TM2 Core i3 and i5? – The TouchSmart tm2 did not receive an upgrade from HP earlier this week, as many of their other products did. The convertible touchscreen PC will be receiving its own update by the end of June, according to reports.

Sources have said that the 12.1 inch notebook will likely be moving on from its existing Core 2 Duo SU7300 in favor of Intel’s Core i3 and i5 processors. This will provide the computer with much more power and speed, and will allow users to be much more efficient while using the machine additional changes to the PC have been announced as of yet.

It is presumed that HP will be keeping its WXGA capacitive touchscreen that can be controlled both by pen and finger. There has been some speculation that they may also be looking to make an upgrade to the graphics card as well, although the company has made no announcement of these plans as of yet.

Fans are happy that HP has continued to work with at least some sort of Windows 7 tablet computer, after they scrapped their original design for a device to compete with the power selling iPad that was released last month. It is not currently clear if HP has any plans to enter that marketplace in the future.
