Nokia N9 MeeGo Smartphone Leaked Early

The Nokia N9 first made an unannounced appearance last week as part of some claimed Nokia roadmap. This week we get to see what is being claimed to be the first sighting of what is claimed to be the hardware being shown off in a rather, some what experimental, video. Read on to check out the Nokia N9 MeeGo smartphone in action.

The Nokia N9 looks very much like the Nokia N8 but with a slide out QWERTY keyboard, very much as we were expecting of this device.

Now, we’re not too sure whether this is an actual promo-video or just a leaked document of intent for the Nokia N9. After all, it opens with a rather curious ‘We can turn the world into a sandwich’ while crazy ukuleles play out in the background.

However, some of the shots of the Nokia N9 are worth checking out. The four line keyboard is very much what we were hoping from this device and it looks super slim. There is no evidence of the OS in action, so the jury is still out on whether this will be a MeeGo device or whether the Nokia N9 will be running Symbian^3.
