UPDATE - American Idol Season 9 Winner is Lee DeyWze!!!- He Was the Fan Favorite!

The finale of American Idol is over and the next American Idol is...drum roll please... Lee DeWyze!!! He was very likable, very cool and become much more popular with the viewers than Crystal Bowersox.

So, in the end... he won. Even though the judges gravitated toward Bowersox, as always, the votes came in and it was all for DeWyze!

This is almost not a surprise to me because Lee DeWyze was rumored to be the winner earlier today.

According to The Examiner, a website called dialidol.com , the company that speed dials votes for viewers declared DeWyze the winner before American Idol even came on!

I guess we'll have to pay more attention to what dialidol.com has to say for future contestants on the American Idol show!

Simon also bid farewell to American Idol. Now, I'm left to wonder who will replace the irreplaceable Cowell?

More importantly, now that two of the main judges have left and the current judges are wishy washy at best...is American Idol going to be a rating force when it starts it's 2011 season?

I would say yes, but it will not be the same without Simon Cowell.
